Ifestia Festival 2018

Ifestia Festival is a unique event. It takes place every September in Santorini, and it is something you should definitely see!
The festival is basically about the representation of the eruption of Santorini's volcano. This volcano had a great impact in European civilization and mostly in Minoan Civilization of Crete.
The Festival includes an impressive fireworks show, popular to its visitors and many artistic events. What makes it truly impressive is the special effects used in order to reenact the lava flow and the explosions of the volcano.
Ifestia is one of the most famous events in Santorini. No wonder why, 26 years later, is still a poll of attraction for a great number of tourists!
