Christmas Village in the centre of Fira

In the framework of Christmas festivities in Santorini, the municipality of Thira with the sponsorship of local businesses will create a Christmas Village at the parking space opposite the Museum of Fira. This Christmas Village will be open from December 20th, 2014 until January 10th, 2015.
Activities at the Christmas Village will vary from face painting for children, crafting with balloons and bazaars with holiday products to alternating Magic Shows, carousels, ice skating rink and puppet shows. Santa Claus will also be there to take photos with the children.
This is an effort of the local authorities and the community to promote all year round tourism in Santorini and show the Christmas view of the island to the world.
