Dimitris Taverna in Santorini
Dimitris Taverna is situated in the beautiful seaside village of Kamari, on the southern side of Santorini. Opening in 1984, Dimitris Taverna offers a fantastic and memorable hospitality to its guests. Food is served from early morning until late at night.
The cuisine at Dimitris Taverna is Mediterranean and Greek, including a variety of local dishes such as fava, fried tomato balls or dishes with white eggplant. The dishes are made with organic products from the garden of Dimitris Taverna and local wine is also offered.
In a hall that can accommodate 400 people, a tradition has started in Dimitris Taverna since the early 1990s: the Greek nights. These nights are actually live shows with live orchestra, local musicians and dancers, accompanied by fire dancing, plate smashing and local Greek dance, like Zorba and Syrtaki. At the end of the show, all guests dance until the early hours.
