    Spectacular views
The Kavalari has a very good location in Fira, with easy walking distance to all shopping, food, etc. Anna our hostess was friendly, pleasant, helpful and provided us with timely information. The hotel sits high on the caldera, with terraces, and rooms going far down the cliff. The walkways down are steep and would be very treacherous if wet. The views were of course spectacular. Our outdoor breakfast and service was excellent. One of the rooms had been totally redone, and I believe they will continue to do this with the rest of the rooms. There is plenty of good shopping here in Santorini and prices seem reasonable.
