The Blue Note Restaurant is located in Imerovigli, one of the most idyllic and highest points in Santorini with its black beaches, steep cliff sides and one of the most fabulous views of the Aegean and the caldera. The restaurant is a deck extended over the cliff and offers a panoramic view of the caldera, the boats and the port, and an astounding view of the magnificent sunset.
The diverse menu is carefully chosen from the traditional Mediterranean and International cuisines and local specialties made from a variety of seafood that reflect the native flavors of the Cyclades are offered at the Blue Note. Typical fare at the Blue Note includes Fava Dip, Santorinian salad with chloro cheese (a fresh cheese made from goat's milk), capers, baby tomatoes, Katsuni (cucumber) and lettuce, tomatokeftedes (tomato rissoles).
Among the main dishes, grilled seafood, including calamari, squid, red snapper and octopus top the list of favorites, while meat grilled to perfection, or the lamb kleftiko is a good meat choice. The shrimp Blue Note, a dish whose recipe is a heavily guarded secret, is a hit with the guests. To round off the sunset meals, traditional sweets such as the Baklava and others that are equally tempting are on offer.
