Agro Taverna in Fira is located close to the donkeys' station and the cable car. The restaurant is a nice two-storied building and affords spectacular views of the caldera, the sea and the sunset. The dining area on the terrace is designed in muted shades of light and dark tones of blue, and typical fare such as fried tomato cakes, fried cheese, grilled octopus, Greek salads, mezedes (Greek appetizers), stuffed tomatoes and green peppers, as well as the traditional Greek dessert baklava are usually served. The seafood platter is also a popular item on the menu.
Konstantinos, the owner, is in charge of the day-to-day running and he is usually around to recommend various dishes for the guests. The restaurant is open for all three meals, starting from breakfast, through lunch to dinner.
