New Cultural Park in Agios Ioannis Detis

The works for the creation of the Cultural Park in Agios Ioannis Detis are about to finish in the beginning of May. As announced by the municipality of Paros, there are only a few works done to finish the park, such as the lighting and the creation of the surrounding ambience. A kiosk will work in the park and sports facilities will be built, such as playground for the children and beach volley ground. Moreover, fifty umbrellas will be put on the beach in front of the park for the comfort of the visitors.  The Cultural Park was financed by the Ministry of Aegean, Blue Star Ferries Nautical Company and some citizens. Events in the Park will start on June 13th, with a conference on saving energy, while a Music Festival will be held there in middle July.
