Kiteboarding World Cup on Paros

The Kiteboarding World Cup on Paros has been scheduled from the 19th to the 25th June 2008 and specifically on the beach of Pounda, opposite to Antiparos.
Organization authority is the International League of Kiteboarding KPWT (Kite Pro World Tour), which has set as local organizer the Paros Kite Pro-Center company for the race part, giving the whole organization to the Down Town Communication.
Kiteboarding is the new water sport that combines windsurfing, wakeboarding and kite, as well as capacity to natural harmony. It is a spectacular sport rapidly developing. Top surfers from all over the world will participate, while national and international media, TV, Internet and Press will be covering the event.
Big sponsor of the organization will be the Greek Tourism Organization (EOT) and MEGA CHANNEL will be the communication sponsor.
Other interesting events have been planned for the whole period of the games (19-25 June), not only around the playing field but also in several places on the island (concerts, DJs, races, parties etc), making the World Cup games one of the top events in Paros and the Greek Islands generally.
