Yummy Greek food, traditional music, and the blue Aegean sea. Can you imagine anything better?
The Fish and Wine feast in Naoussa began in the early seventies by a group of fishermen. It’s an "event" meant to attract tourists and it is held on the first Sunday of July.
At first, it was held t in Mandraki, the small harbor of Naoussa. The island’s fishermen fry fish into their boats and offer them to the world, along with wine.
Later, when the great harbor was made, the feast was transported there, as it had become "tradition" and the visitors were many more.
The festival is always accompanied by musicians and local bands, with traditional dances and songs.
