Paros Parasporos beach

General information

Parasporos in Paros is located south of Parikia, next to a campsite, which is the reason why it is often very crowded. It is a large beach with emerald waters and a mix of golden sand and large pebbles.

Even though it is one of the most frequented beaches due to its location, the natural environment is well-preserved, with numerous tamarisks stretching their branches above the shore.
A couple of beach bars are available on the beach and organize a few parties during summertime, with dancing and drinking all night long.
Some accommodations are also available in the region.

Parasporos Beach is reachable by local bus that stops nearby the beach or by private car for a good asphalted road leads to it. Many visitors mistake the neighboring Delfini beach for Parasporos because of their proximity.
Following the signs, though, will lead you to your intended destination. Fortunately, the beach is well-signposted from the town and there is ample space to park your vehicle after arriving.

    Too busy and packed
Nice beach but too crowded for our taste. Sand and clean water but no space to leave your towel. Sunbeds were taken by noon and were full till sunset. Nice spot for night swimming because there are some cafeterias with lights at night. In day, too busy. Maybe if you go in June, it will be better, but in August it was packed.
