Parasporos Paros: Parasporos is located south of Parikia, the capital of Paros, next to a campsite, which is the reason why it is often very crowded. It is a large beach with emerald waters and golden sand. A couple of beach bars are available on the beach and organise a few parties during summer time, with dancing and drinking all night long.

Parasporos Beach is reachable by local bus that stops nearby the beach or by private car for a good asphalted road leads to it. The beach is well sign posted from the town. If you take the first turning you can park above the beach, otherwise there is a second turning with a car park on the same level.

How to get to Parasporos beach

There are many different ways to get to Parasporos from any location on the island.
Airport to Parasporos: 8 km / 4.9 miles | Port to Parasporos: 2 km / 1.2 miles | Parikia to Parasporos: 2 km / 1.2 miles

Car rental: Τhere’s the option of renting a car in Paros with as little as 14 euros per day and pick it up directly from the airport, port or your hotel. Using a car rental allows visitors to discover Parasporos and many other places of interest in Paros at their own pace.

Public transfers: The central bus station of the island is located at the main port of Paros (Parikia). There are several buses from Parikia to Parasporos during the day. Consider that time schedules might change according to the season. Check the official timetables here.
From Paros airport to Parasporos: There’s a bus station outside the airport building. The buses that depart from there take visitors to the main bus station in Parikia village. From Parikia, visitors should take another bus to reach Parasporos.
From Paros port to Parasporos: The central bus station is located at the main port of Paros (Parikia). From there, visitors who have arrived by ferry to Paros should take a bus to reach Parasporos.
Tip: Since buses don’t always stop in every scheduled stop of their itinerary, our advice to visitors is to inform the driver about their final destination, so that he makes a stop there.

    Too busy and packed
    Nice beach but too crowded for our taste. Sand and clean water but no space to leave your towel. Sunbeds were taken by noon and were full till sunset. Nice spot for night swimming because there are some cafeterias with lights at night. In day, too busy. Maybe if you go in June, it will be better, but in August it was packed.
