Ambelas Paros: Ambelas is a small yet lovely fishing village located 13 km far from Paros town and 5km from Naoussa. It has a small sandy beach where all the fishing boats come to. Mostly famous for the fishing port and the delicious fish taverns, Ambelas is a nice alternative if you don't want to stay in the busy town of Naoussa.

The water is crystal clear and safe for the children. It is not an organized beach but it is a nice place for those who prefer the tranquil locations. The sea front taverns and the traditional restaurants offer some of the greatest fish food on Paros. In Ambelas, there are many hotels and apartments to stay.

How to get to Ambelas beach

There are many different ways to get to Ambelas from any location on the island.
Airport to Ambelas: 22.5 km / 13.9 miles | Port to Ambelas: 13 km / 8 miles | Parikia to Ambelas: 13 km / 8 miles

Private transfers: We recommend using an online pre-booked Paros transfer service, which provides transfer by taxi, minibus or private VIP car and arranging a pickup directly from the port, airport or your hotel. Car rental: Τhere’s the option of renting a car in Paros with as little as 14 euros per day and pick it up directly from the airport, port or your hotel. Using a car rental allows visitors to discover Ambelas and many other places of interest in Paros at their own pace.

Public transfers: The central bus station of the island is located at the main port of Paros (Parikia). There are several buses from Parikia to locations close to Ambelas during the day. Consider that time schedules might change according to the season. Check the official timetables here.
From Paros airport to Ambelas: There’s a bus station outside the airport building. The buses that depart from there take visitors to the main bus station in Parikia village. From Parikia, visitors should take a bus to reach Naoussa and from there another bus to reach Ambelas.
From Paros port to Ambelas: The central bus station is located at the main port of Paros (Parikia). From there, visitors who have arrived by ferry to Paros should take a bus to reach Naoussa and from there another bus to reach Ambelas.
Tip: Since buses don’t always stop in every scheduled stop of their itinerary, our advice to visitors is to inform the driver about their final destination, so that he makes a stop there.
