General information

Agia Irini in Paros is a small beach located a few kilometers south of Parikia. It is boarded with beautiful palm trees, which give the place a tropical atmosphere. A lovely namesake church stands right on the beachfront. This is a dreamy site but can get crowded sometimes because of its size.

Just behind the beach lies a very relaxing campsite, almost non-organized, full of palm trees and olive trees. One can find a very good tavern serving a big variety of Greek traditional food there.

Agia Irini beach is located far away from the asphalted road and has to be reached from a footpath.

    Agia Irini beach
On Paros, I was staying in Logaras and I saw on a guide about the beach of Agia Irini. It took us a 30 minutes drive to get there. The condition of the road was bad, but the trip to the beach was enjoyable. The sea was clear blue and turquoise, the waters were hot. Fully organized with sun beds and umbrella rentals. Also it was isolated and calm, clean and windy, with vegetation and natural shadow. Another good thing is that it was free.
