In business for over a decade, Plaka Watersports, located on the long and sandy Plaka beach, western Naxos, offers an ideal setting for all levels of windsurfers. Strong summer winds blowing from the north provide ideal conditions for a variety of water sports, and surfing lessons are provided by a well-qualified team of expert surfers.

A wide range of sails for both beginners and advanced are rented out, and special lightweight rigs are provided for the kiddos. Waterskiing is a popular sport at the center and the calm sea during early morning and late afternoon sets the perfect stage for water skiing and mono-ski, an advanced form of water-ski. Kneeboard, a highly challenging sport, is also quite popular at the center and offers an amazing sensation of gliding at great speed so close to the water.
