Irini's Restaurant is located along the waterfront of Naxos Town, very close to the Port. The ambiance is quite good with the sense of basilic all over the area due to the dozens of big pots surrounding the place. Although the restaurant serves up a varied menu of the most classic Greek dishes depending on the availability of fresh ingredients, there are some specialty dishes at Irini's, like the meatballs, patzarosalata (beetroot salad) and gigantes (beans). Due to its Mediterranean-diet oriented menu, you will find many delicious vegetarians and vegan options. The wine list is limited but it includes a fine house wine, both red and white, that exceeds all expectations. It is an ideal tavern for families and although it is a tourist friendly eatery with menus written in different languages, the cooking remains very close to the authentic recipes. A very clean and proper restaurant.
