Established in 2009, La Vigne is a wine bar and restaurant located in the heart of Naxos Town, in a narrow alleyway inside the Venetian castle. Its name means vineyard, and it is run by two French friends who fell in love with the island after visiting it and decided to settle there permanently. It is a small, homey establishment that showcases the traditional Cycladic architecture combined with bold strokes of color and pretty flowers. Because of its size, tables are limited, so booking one beforehand is highly recommended.
The restaurant specializes in a fusion of French, Asian and Greek cuisines and techniques, serving delicious dishes prepared daily with fresh local ingredients. However, its signature is the long list of exquisite wines and champagnes, both Greek and French, acquired from selected producers. Additionally, guests have the opportunity to purchase bottles of wine to also enjoy at home. It is the perfect place to try unique wines, grab a bite and end the dinner with a delicious dessert.
