One day in Mykonos: Chora, swimming, and clubbing
Mykonos is a great island to relax. Although it gets very crowded, especially in July and August, you will find it a pleasure to walk along the paved, narrow paths. Chora, the capital of Mykonos, has a genuine sample of Cycladic style.
On your way, you will definitely meet Petros the Pelican, the mascot of Mykonos. Check out the souvenir shops and have a coffee or meal in Little Venice, the most picturesque neighborhood of Chora with coffee houses and restaurants right by the sea. Also visit the beautiful church of Panagia Paraportiani, the most photographed church on Mykonos.
Then, take the bus or the boat and go swimming in one of the most popular beaches of Mykonos: Super Paradise, Paradise, or Paranga. In the afternoon, climb up to the windmills in Chora to see the lovely sunset and get a wonderful view of the island. At around midnight, while other islands go to sleep, everyone on Mykonos is getting ready for clubbing, which lasts till the early hours!

Two days in Mykonos: Tour to Delos
1st day as described above.
Although Mykonos doesn't have many sites to see, on the second day you should visit the neighboring island of Delos, a paradise for history lovers. According to mythology, Delos was the birthplace of Apollo, the god of music and light. That is why the Greeks considered it a sacred island. In fact, they built a temple to Apollo and a theatre for performances. Gradually, Delos became the center of the Athenian League and a popular trade center.
Today, frequent tour boats connect Mykonos to Delos. This small island is famous for its ancient sites and particularly the Street of the Lions, that lined the way to the temple. A small archaeological museum houses the findings during excavations there.

Three days in Mykonos: Discover the calm side of Mykonos
1st and 2nd days as described above.
Mykonos is not just a busy island, but it has many hidden beauties all over it. You are advised to rent a car or a scooter for the third day to explore the island at your pace. Ano Mera, the second village of Mykonos, is certainly less popular than Chora. Things are much quieter there. Then, drive a bit to the north and swim in Panormos. Due to the big distance between this beach and Chora, it is unlikely that it gets busy. On your way, you will pass an artificial lake. In the afternoon, head up to Armenistis Lighthouse, on the northwestern side, to see the view and the sunset.
