Schedule for Christmas Events

The Municipality of Mykonos and the Municipal Company for the Cultural Promotion and Developement of Mykonos have organized many events to celebrate Christmas this year. The celebrations will last for about 2 weeks. Friday, December 19th, 5:00 p.m. The Municipal Library of Mykonos invites its little friends to a "Journey to a Christmas Fairy World" Saturday, December 20th, 12.00 p.m. Craftwork for children in the Room of the Company for the Cultural Promotion of Mykonos is Matogianni. The children can make  Christmas decorations and toys with the help of the Folklore Association and the Women of Mykonos. Tuesday, December 23rd, 5:00 p.m. A kid's movie will be presented in the Room of the Company for the Cultural Promotion of Mykonos in Matogianni. Saturday, December 27th, 5:00 p.m. Kid's Performance "Sound in the Land of the Myth". The story deals with the sound that travels around and meets a little bee in one of its many journeys... Apart from the performance, there will also be many music games and Christmas food. Tuesday, December 30th, 5:00 p.m. Santa Claus will arrive by boat in Gialos and will give many presents to children, while people will be singing the Christmas Carols of Mykonos. Sunday, January 4th, 5:00 p.m. A fairy tale evening in the Cultural Centre Of Ano Mera.  Monday, January 5th, 5:00 p.m. The theatrical group Chrisomilia will present a puppet show in the Room of the Company for the Cultural Promotion of Mykonos in Matogianni.
