Mykonos voted for best European destination

A new award was given to Mykonos for the quality of its tourism services: the readers of the American travel magazine Conde Nast Traveler voted Mykonos for the best European tourism destination. This award is very important for the island, which fights for many years now to keep its visitors happy. The award was given to the Greek Minister of Tourism, Aris Spiliotopoulos, and the Mayor of Mykonos, Christos Veronis, in the World Travel Market exhibition in London. As Mr Veronis noted, this award is very important in the context of the world economnical crisis which threatens to seriously affect the field of tourism.
