The beach of Mykonos Town is the closest and easiest to access for anyone staying in the island’s capital. It is located right in the heart of the Old Port and can be approached on foot from every part of the town.

It is a non-organized beach and usually calmer than the other popular ones on the island, where partying never stops. It is perfect for those who want to relax on its golden sand or have a quick swim in crystal-clear waters near their accommodation. 

Even though there are no facilities right on the beach, numerous restaurants, cafes, hotels and shops are only a few steps away.
No umbrellas and sunbeds for rent are available, but guests can lay their towels on the sand and enjoy the sun.

Last but not least, despite not boasting any beach equipment, a lifeguard is usually present and keeps watch over the bathers.
