Kapari in Mykonos is one of the few totally unorganized beaches of Mykonos, located behind the lovely chapel of Agios Ioannis. It is very calm, ideal for relaxing and enjoying its beautiful clear waters. It also comprises an excellent spot to gaze at the sunset.

Car rental: There’s the option of renting a car and picking it up directly from the airport, port, or your hotel. Using a car rental allows visitors to discover Agrari beach and many other places of interest at their own pace.
Public transfers: Agios Ioannis is located close to Kapari beach (a 10-minute walk). In Agios Ioannis lies the terminal of the bus route Mykonos town (Fabrika) > Agios Ioannis. Note that there are two central bus stations in Mykonos town: Fabrika and Old Port. Several buses depart from Fabrika to Platis Gialos during the day. Itineraries might change according to the season. Check the official timetables here. From Mykonos airport to Kapari: A bus station lies outside the main terminal building. The bus route Airport > New Port (approximately every 1.5 hours) takes visitors to Fabrika central station (second stop). From Fabrika, visitors should board another bus to reach Kapari, following the route Mykonos town (Fabrika) > Agios Ioannis. From Mykonos new port (in Tourlos) to Kapari: The bus station is located at the new port of Mykonos, a 3-minute walk away from the passenger disembarkation area. From there, visitors who have arrived by ferry can take the bus route New Port > Airport (approximately every hour) and get off after 3 stops. From there, visitors need to reach the bus station of Fabrika (a 15-minute walk). From Fabrika, visitors should board another bus to reach Kapari, following the route Mykonos town (Fabrika) > Agios Ioannis. Tip: Since buses don’t always stop at every scheduled stop of their itinerary, our advice to visitors is to inform the driver about their final destination in advance.
