Divounia Mykonos: Divounia is a lovely fishing settlement located 13 km south east from Mykonos Town. The small beach is found next to a picturesque hamlet and it is among the most secluded places in Mykonos, next to Kalafatis beach.
This small beach has few pebbles and deep blue water. The village has lovely whitewashed houses overlooking the sea and there are two taverns that serve amazing fish dishes from the morning catch. Prehistoric remains were recently discovered in the region that date until the Roman Period.

Car rental: Τhere’s the option of renting a car in Mykonos with as little as 10 euros per day and pick it up directly from the airport, port or your hotel. Using a car rental allows visitors to discover Divounia beach and many other places of interest in Mykonos at their own pace.
Public transfers: Ano Mera is located next to Divounia beach (10-minute walk). In Ano Mera village lies the terminal of the bus route Mykonos town (Fabrika) > Ano Mera. Note that there are two central bus stations in Mykonos town: Fabrika and Old Port. There are several buses from Fabrika to Ano Mera during the day. Consider that time schedules might change according to the season. Check the official timetables here.
From Mykonos airport to Divounia: There’s a bus station outside the airport’s main terminal building. The bus route Airport > New Port (approximately every 1.5 hours) takes visitors to Fabrika central station (second stop). From Fabrika, visitors should take another bus to reach Divounia, following the route Mykonos town (Fabrika) > Ano Mera.
From Mykonos new port (in Tourlos) to Divounia: The bus station is located at the new port of Mykonos, a 3-minute walk away from the passenger disembarkation area. From there, visitors who have arrived by ferry to Mykonos can take the bus route New Port > Airport (approximately every hour) and get off after 3 stops. From there, visitors need to reach the bus station of Fabrica (15-minute walk). From Fabrika, visitors should take another bus to reach Divounia, following the route Mykonos town (Fabrika) > Ano Mera.
Tip: Since buses don’t always stop in every scheduled stop of their itinerary, our advice to visitors is to inform the driver about their final destination, so that he makes a stop there.
