The organized beach of Kalo Livadi

Lia beach, a beautiful sandy beach of Mykonos

The beaches of Mykonos are famous all over the world for their golden sand and crystal waters. In fact, some of them are considered among the most beautiful beaches in Greece.
As one of the most popular tourist destinations in Greece, most beaches are organized with many tourist facilities, from seaside accommodation to beach bars, restaurants, and water sports centers. The best-organized ones are found on the southern coast, which gets extremely overcrowded during peak season.
In brief, Paradise Beach and Super Paradise Beach are the most famous beaches for partying. Psarrou beach, with the famous Nammos restaurant and beach bar, is the most famous among jet setters and celebrities. Platis Gialos beach is the most famous beach resort with many hotels. Kalafatis beach is ideal for windsurfing and other watersports.
The beaches on the northern coast of the island are less organized and ideal to enjoy some calm and private moments. Nudism is frequently practised on many beaches.
☀ Note that Mykonos is a very popular and busy island and it is not always easy to find a free sunbed on the many organized seashores. You can now Book your sunbeds online.
