The airport of Milos island is located in the centre of the island, between the villages of Adamas and Zefyria. This is a small airport that serves only domestic flights from Athens. Flights to Milos from Athens operate 3 times per week and flight time is 45 min. There are no direct flights to Milos from abroad, but there are direct flights from other countries to close islands, such as Santorini and Paros. Many visitors arrive there and then continue to Milos by ferry.
Ferries to Milos depart from Piraeus, the main port of Athens. These ferries depart daily in summer and the duration of the trip varies, depending on the vessel and the route. It may last from 4 to 8 hours. These ferries also connect Milos with other islands of the Cyclades, including Santorini, Paros, Sifnos, Serifos, Folegandros, Ios and more. Once per week in high season, there is ferry connection with Crete (port of Heraklion). From the small port of Pollonia in Milos, there is a local ferry to Kimolos 3-4 times daily.
