    Monkeys in a cage .
The rate in July was extremely expensive per night and we were looking forward to a real treat but was not so. The night we arrived the weather was raining and windy( can't help mother nature !!)but due to the location and accessibility of the room it made things very difficult as the waves were wetting our feet and luggage along the path to the room. There is no accessibly from the street unlike other sea homes we have stayed in Milos(a must to check when booking this sort of thing). You can only enter from the water front which is very slippery, wet and not suitable for elderly , families with small children or prams. The tourist boats passing from 7.30 am every day with the travel guild on the microphone pointing at our seahomes made sure we were awake. There was constant foot traffic from 8 am until after sunset, hundreds would walk within a meter of our front door and look in(sunset was a very popular thing here so its super super busy) and they all walk to the special sunset jetty. After awhile we gave up trying to get out of the shower in peace and just gave that up. The best part about the area was the seafood restaurant 200 meter away and their amazing staff. The private parking provided was on first in first serve basis so at the end of the day was a real challenge to find a space. The room was humid, Slippy and moist (the mold in bathroom a tell tale) we couldnt wait to check out as the wet sheets, pillows and towels were constantly damp due to the nature of the room being literally in the sea!!. It was the most unromantic place we have ever stayed, very claustrophobic as there was only the front door onto the sea with no other windows for ventilation. There was NO privacy due to the foot traffic and we felt like monkeys in a cage being looked at by all passing tourists.
