General information

Agios Dimitrios is an isolated beach located in the homonymous Agios Dimitrios Gulf, about 25 km southwest of Plaka. It boasts a small stretch of sand and crystal blue waters amidst a serene environment away from the hustle and bustle of busier resorts. The white Chapel of Agios Dimitrios lies atop a hill overlooking the beach, adding to the enchanting atmosphere of this secluded spot.

The beach remains unorganized, so there are no amenities like sunbeds or umbrellas, nor any restaurants or beach bars nearby. Beach-goers should therefore come well-prepared with all necessities including food and water. The surrounding region is dominated by impressive hills with lush greenery and rugged formations. The only way to reach the idyllic beach is by boat.
