Agios Ioannis Beach in Milos: Located on the western side of Milos, the bay of Agios Ioannis is a secluded beach, separated into three coves, all surrounded by high, impressive cliffs of volcanic origin. The beach got its name from the monastery of Saint John (Agios Ioannis), which is situated nearby. It is the largest monastery of Milos, and yearly festivities take place there.

Agios Ioannis is not organized, so visitors will not find any facilities. It is recommended to bring the necessary equipment to spend the day under the hot summer sun, as natural shade is not available either. To access the beach, one has to follow a narrow dirt road that reaches up to one of the coves. The other two can be reached by swimming or boat, which is the safest option, as the track might be dangerous.
