Idyllic resort

Perched on a hilltop that overlooks Achivadolimni and the bay below, this jewel resort provides a unique vantage point to enjoy breathtaking sunsets and the relaxing flickering nightlights of the port of Adamas and vilage of Tripiti in the distance at night. Achivadolimni (meaning lake with sea shells, for Achivada=shell and limni=lake) refers to both, a small freshwater lake which is a migratory stop for birds and the largest in east Mediterranean, and the adjacent beach (the most beautiful in Milos). The resort is only a 5' walk from Achivadolimni (facing north) and a 25'' walk from two beaches on the south side of the island, Provatas and Agios Sostis. Naturally, with car one gets to these and many other beaches in no time since the resort is strategically located in the middle of the island. There is a lot to say about Island but I leave this to the online pictures that are readily available!!! The same is true for this wonderful resort (with online pictures giving the gist of it)!!! Apparently (I asked), it is marked as a 3-star hotel only because the reception closes at night. It should have been 4 or 5 in my opinion. The personnel was efficient and ready to help with everything, reservations for boats, car, etc. The hospitality and warmth made my stay feel special. I look forward to returning next summer, as there is so much to see in this beautiful island.
