General information

The lesser-known but beautiful seaside settlement of Agios Dimitrios is located on the southern tip of Kythnos Island.

Its most prominent feature is its long sandy beach, lined with tamarisks. Sometimes, sea daffodils bloom in August, adding a whole new flair to the beach and making it even more beautiful and unique. Small vacation homes are available within arm's reach from the beach and the hillside, and the area is ideal for a relaxing vacation. Keep in mind that Agios Dimitrios Beach does not have any major facilities, hence it is advised that you carry an umbrella and towel.

You can combine your visit to Agios Dimitrios with a stop at Aliki Beach, as the two are close.
