Kythnos Church of Agia Kalliopi

Location: Kanala

The church of Agia Kalliopi is a chapel of the most famous church on the island, Panagia Kanala. The two are separated by a distance of 100 meters, with Agia Kalliopi standing at the corner of the cape. Its elevated and surrounded-by-sea location affords it a view of Serifos and the blue waters of the Aegean.

Because of its exquisite location, Agia Kalliopi is considered one of the most romantic places for a wedding.

The church celebrates on June 8th, the saint’s feast day.
