Port Facilities
Merichas is one of the liveliest spots in Kythnos, offering accommodation options, places to eat and drink, and some shops, all in proximity to the port.
The port itself has passenger waiting sheds, a passenger service area with a snack bar, and toilets (typical and specially designed for disabled people).
Additionally, right at the port's entrance, visitors can find the Info Kiosk of the Municipality of Kythnos. Bus schedules are hung there.
Car rental agencies as well as ticket offices are also available.
Lastly, many water taxis to Kolona depart from Merichas during summer. The marina also hosts inflatables, yachts and other sailboats, which can be provided with water and fuel.
