Kythnos Schinari beach

General information

Schinari Beach is found only 5 minutes on foot from the small harbor of Loutra. It presents a calmer atmosphere than its neighbor, Loutra Beach, and is preferred by families for its sandy shore, serenity, and relatively shallow waters, although it offers no amenities.

Like most beaches in Kythnos, Schinari has tamarisks on its shore, under the shade of which people can protect themselves from sun rays. Close to the coast, visitors can find some accommodation options, as well as a tavern.

Note that Schinari is one of the most accessible beaches on the island. You can either reach it by car or take a bus to Loutra and walk a short distance.
