Kythnos Agios Nikolaos beach

General information

Agios Nikolaos Beach is a small cove located between Skylou Beach and Megali Ammos and one of the many non-organized beaches in Kythnos.

As it is an enclosed bay, winds rarely affect the azure waters of Agios Nikolaos. The shore presents a mix of coarse sand and pebbles and lacks sunbeds, umbrellas, and other such amenities, hence visitors are advised to carry their own beach gear, water and snacks.

Due to the road leading to the beach being somewhat challenging, the number of bathers is limited even during July and August, when the island hosts the most vacationers. In most cases, families with babies or small children and elders are seldom among the visitors because of the lack of facilities and difficult access.
