The local products of Kimolos are definitely unique. The white-silver quality of perlite and cimolite which is extracted from this island is a major trading product. Chalk is the major export product of Kimolos today. Among the local recipes, you should definitely try kolokythenia, which is a pumpkin pie, and Ladenia, a local pizza prepared with olive oil, tomato, and onion.

There is also a tasty local snack prepared from tomato paste in Kimolos.
