General information

Kalidonychi Beach Kea: The beach of Kalydonychi is among the most highly recommended beaches on the eastern coast of Kea, along with Orkos, Psili Ammos, Sykamia, and Spathi. Its profile is not as high as that of Gialiskari, or as low as that of Liparo. On the other hand, its closeness to those beaches allows the visit to Kalidonychi to be taken advantage of, in order to pay a visit to them, too.

Kalidonychi is a secluded, non-equipped pebbly beach boasting crystalline waters that are excellent for swimming. At the right edge of the shore lies a small cave that provides adequate shade, so if you are lucky enough to catch the spot, you may skip setting your beach umbrellas.

You can reach Kalidonychi from Ioulida - the capital - via the available road. The beach also has the advantage of being well connected to other parts of the island, as well as other beaches with more facilities.
