Ralph, the owner of Yialos who discovered Ios back in the 1980s, can now proudly claim how his passion for windsurfing and other water sports turned out to be a lovely business aiming to provide fun to its guests.

Motivated by his love for windsurfing, wakeboarding and volleyball led him to the foundation of Yialos, a water sports center that has been around since 1995. Yialos is located in two magnificent seashores of Ios. Port Bay is known for its perfect wind conditions during the summer months, creating easy access to the surfers, while the crystal waters of Thedoti beach are ideal for wakeboarding and canoe excursions.

Yialos suits all tastes and ages offering a great variety of sports, like windsurfing, water-ski and wakeboarding, canoe excursions and pedal boats as well as volleyball and diving. Yialos team comprises skillful and experienced instructors, well trained to understand your needs and help you overcome your fears. Special training programs are offered to children as well as basic courses for beginners and professionals.
