Psathi Ios: Psathi lays 17km east of Chora. Known for its golden sand and rocky landscape, the beach uniquely combines a beautiful scenery and a perfect place for sunbathing. Psathi consists of two wild beaches with blue water and flat rocks. Despite its close proximity to the port, the beach offers moments of relaxation and tranquility.
Moreover, Psathi is quite popular among windsurfers while it becomes a safe anchorage for yachts. The beach has no umbrellas and sundecks but its landscape is just amazing to watch. At the end of the peninsula, there is a small islet called Psathonisi. In short distance from the beach there is a tavern. On your way to Psathi past Agia Theodoti, visit the ruins of Pakeokastro (Old Castle) that dates back to the 8th century and the ruins of an ancient temple.
