The International Andros Festival was organized for the first time in 2015; it takes place every summer and catches fire ever since. In particular, performances begin in the last week of July and last until late August.
The festival's program includes theatrical plays and Greek and classical music events. The Philarmonic Orchestra as well as dance and theatrical groups from Andros have also participated in the events.
The institution's goal is to promote culture, which is why it wants to present high-quality performances.
The events take place in the Open Andros Theater, located between two beautiful buildings; the neoclassical Town Hall and the Lyceum. The theater has been constructed on a hillside location that protects it from the wind while offering marvelous views. Its seating capacity is 870 seats.
The dates are indicative, based on previous years. For up-to-date information, visit the festival's official website.
