Pyrgos Beach Andros: Located on the north western side of Andros, in the region of Gavrio, Pyrgos can be reached through a track road. Actually it can be reached through the same track road that leads to Vlyhada and Pisolimionas, two other secluded beaches in the area. Remote and with no tourist facilities at all, Pyrgos is ideal to enjoy all the privacy and quiet you need on vacations. The beach took its name (meaning tower) from the Venetian tower of Makrotantalos that now lays in ruins on a rock above the beach.
