General information

Chora Beach Andros: Near the lovely capital of Andros lays the organized beach of Niborio, as well as the small isolated beaches with clean sand and crystal clear waters of Achla, Vori, Platanos and Gria Cape, all reachable by footpaths or boat.

The long sandy beach of Paraporti is also a nice place to enjoy a refreshing swim. From this beach a footpath leads to the deserted Lidi beach. The nice beaches of Gialia and Pisso Gialia can be reached by car.

Too windy beach

Chora is a pretty village to stay or go for a walk, but the beach is very windy. It is actually a sandy shore with a very nice ambient but the windy atmosphere creates many troubles and can get dangerous for the children. If you want a good beach on Andros, prefer Agios Petros.
