Greek cooking or pastry class with Aegean views
General Description
Our meetup spot will be the Vigla Hotel in Tholaria. There, we will create widely-known Greek and Mediterranean cuisine dishes!
The recipes we will follow include gemista (vegetables such as tomatoes, zucchini, and bell peppers filled with rice), moussaka (a layered eggplant casserole), pastitsio (oven-baked pasta with ground meat and bechamel), and patatato, a famous Amorgian meal with goat meat and potatoes! We will also prepare our own galaktoboureko made with baked semolina custard and tasty syrup!
After we create our delicious dishes, we will enjoy our meal on a large terrace offering fantastic views of Amorgos’ Kroukelos mountain and the Aegean Sea! As a gift, we will be handed a wooden ladle (large spoon) and a written recipe to have back home!
This is a detailed cooking experience that lasts around 2 hours and 30 minutes.
