The fantastic Folklore Museum of Amorgos is located in the island's Chora and was the house of Theodoros Passaris, a hero of the Greek Independence War. After its renovation, it became a museum demonstrating a typical Amorgian house. You will have the chance to see how locals lived many years ago, their furniture, clothes and everyday tools.

The museum also organizes audiovisual activities with narratives of Amorgos' legends and stories, preserving the local linguistic idioms.

Entrance to the museum is free of charge.
