Amorgos Gavras Tower

Garvas Tower of Amorgos: Gavras Tower is located at the center of Chora, in Amorgos. It is a remarkable 16th-century Venetian building characterized by its outstanding architecture. Today, the two-storey tower houses the Archaeological Museum of Amorgos with unique finds on display from the excavated sites in the wider region, dating back to Prehistoric and Roman times. Of great interest are the ancient sculptures and inscriptions.
