Raki Festival 2019

This is definitely one of the most interesting summer festivals in Amorgos that you shouldn't miss! Raki Festival takes place every year in Katapola's main square. You will have the opportunity to see up close how this excellent beverage is made.
The celebration continues by welcoming a boat carrying dancers wearing traditional costumes. They are received by the local musicians and the dancing starts!

Raki is offered along with locals delicacies, such as Pasteli and Avenates (pie with cheese and raki).

Of course, you can join the dance!
