General information

Agios Vasilios Rethymno Crete: Agios Vasilios is a small village in the inland of Rethymno, about 27 km south of Rethymnon Town. Preserving its traditional architecture, Agios Vasilios has small stone houses and narrow streets.

The natural surrounding of Agios Vasilios is lush green and consists of plane trees and fur trees. Two famous gorges are also closeby, Kourtaliotiko Gorge and Kotsifou Gorge, ideal for trekking.
