Rethymno Skinaria beach

General information

Skinaria Beach is a hidden gem in Lefkogia, 33 km south of Rethymno Town. It’s a shore covered in fine beige sand and pebbles, with deep turquoise waters.

The clarity of the water along with its stunning seabed make it ideal for snorkeling. The diving center that lies in Skinaria is one of the most renowned in Crete, gathering plenty of tourists from around the world every summer.

The beach is not well-organized, but the local tavern offers some sunbeds and umbrellas to the visitors.
