General information

Kalypso, also known as Karavos, is a unique shore, on a long narrow bay called the Pirate’s Fjord. The beach is surrounded by rocks, making it one of the most impressive beaches in Rethymno. A bridge connects the two sides of the bay.

The beach is rocky without any sand and organized with umbrellas and sunbeds, while the waters are crystal clear with a rich seabed, making them ideal for snorkeling. On the hill next to it, you will find a luxurious resort where you can enjoy a pleasant stay. There are also two snack bars available on the beach.
