Rethymno Despotiko beach

Despotiko Beach is considered a hidden gem in Rethymno. It’s a secluded shore, boasting incredible natural beauty. It’s a great alternative for those who want to avoid big crowds and highly touristic areas.

The coast is mostly covered in coarse sand and large rocks and is not organized. There are no tourist facilities available in the area, which means you will have to prepare your own things to be comfortable.

Note that nudism is not allowed on the beach.
