The Archaeological Museum of Agios Nikolaos in Lassithi, Crete: The Archaeological Museum of Agios Nikolaos, the capital of the prefecture of Lassithi in Crete, was established in 1970 to host the findings in various excavations in Lassithi that till then were hosted in the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion. The museum is located in the center of Agios Nikolaos, close to the port and the sea lake, and its exhibits cover a period of 3,000 years of Cretan civilization.

In this museum, visitors can see: several findings, like tools and knives, from the early Minoan cemetery with the 300 tombs in Agia Fotia; a libation vase in the form of a female figurine from the settlement of Myrtos; an early Minoan golden diadem with a relief decoration presenting three goats; findings from late Minoan tombs in Kritsa and Milatos; various Archaic and Roman exhibits, including vases, clay figurines, jewelry, weaponry, tools and other valuable material.
