Greek hotel awarded best in Europe

Lato Boutique Hotel, a luxurious hotel in the town of Heraklion Crete, recently got two awards in the 15th World Travel Awards Ceremony for Europe Winners, which was held in Slovakia. In fact, it was awarded as Europe's Leading Boutique Hotel and Greece's Leading Boutique Hotel for 2008. The results of this ceremony, the Tourism Oscars as they are called, was based on the online voting of travelers, travel agents and generally people workign with the tourism industry. Lato Boutique Hotel operates since 1978 and has been renovated three times, in the period from 1994 to 2002. It has 53 rooms and 5 deluxe suites, while many other facilities are provided. The owners and staff make sure that their clients are satisfied even in the slightest detail and were truly happy to receive such an honor, after so many years of work.
