Houdetsi Festival 2013

For the fourth year on the row, Houdetsi Festival is organized in the mountainous village of Houdetsi, located 23 km south of Heraklion Town and 8 km from Archanes. In just few years, this festival has turned into an important local and international attraction as Labyrinth Musical Workshop, directed by the world-famous musician Ross Daly, is organizing seminars and master classes. Ross Daly is also the artistic director of Houdetsi Festival.

Houdetsi Festival 2013 will take place from August 1st to 4th, and apart from musical concerts, there will also be a crafts market and an exhibition of musical instruments. The concerts will start every night at 21:00 till the morning on five stages in the village. The Crafts Market starts every evening at 19.00 and the Exhibition of Making Musical Instruments is open all day. You can also visit the exhibition of Labyrinth Musical Workshop all day. All events are free to the public.
